The 32 Spindle high speed lace braiding machine mainly produces RIC-RAC Lace, Piping Tape, Jacquard Tape, Elastic Band, Various Rope, Special Band and shoelaces spindle It adopts reasonable structure and is safe and easy to operate spindle It uses auto yarn cutting device to control the diameter of bobbin and has a high output, stable performance, low noise, and long lifespan.

There are a number of different spindle variations on the market, but they all come down to one thing: they allow a knob or lever handle to be secured to a door using a setscrew or screw spindle

Typically, the spindle is threaded at one end to accept a setscrew* which then locates into a corresponding groove on the lock hub spindle spindle This provides a very strong connection and creates an effective means of securing handles, escutcheons and other items which use face-fixings+ (not to be confused with bolt through fixings+).

In the early days of mortise locks, spindle manufacturers discovered that if they used a square rod that was 9/32" square, you wouldn't be able to read it with a ruler, so they switched to 3/8" -20 threads per inch spindle This allowed the spindle to be measured in a standard way, and it made it much easier to put in a new set of doorknobs.

Some manufacturers added a stop pin or notch to the hub of the lock spindle, which prevented the spindle from being pushed in further than it should be spindle This is a good idea, and it stops you from installing a set of new knobs or levers on a mortise lock which has a spindle that is not the correct length.

As technology progressed, it was found that a swivel could be attached to a spindle, which enabled both the interior and exterior knobs to work simultaneously spindle This was a real innovation and it has been used ever since.

A split spindle, as the name suggests, is two-part and joined in the middle spindle This allows the two sides to swivel independently of each other and is mostly used on doors with Night Latch*.

The most common spindle used in modern knob and lever handles is 100mm (4") long which is long enough to pass through the standard-thickness of doors and trim, with plenty of length remaining at either side to locate into the back of the door handle or knob spindle This is sufficient for most situations, but occasionally an exceptionally thick door will necessitate a longer spindle. It is always best to measure a current spindle before ordering to make sure that it will be suitable for the door. If in doubt, contact us and we can provide a quick product cost, literature and technical help for your application. The most important thing to remember is that both the exterior and interior spindle halves must be swivel able in order for the handles to operate properly. If they are not, the handles will be unable to swivel, and they will not grip the door.
