These double-acting swing clamps generate up to 50 pounds of clamp force from compressed air. They are characterized by a combination of linear and swivel movement, allowing workpieces to be inserted and removed above the area of the clamping point in a minimum of space. They are easy to use and provide fast, efficient clamping in secondary manufacturing processes. They can be mounted on both metallic and non-metallic workpieces. Because of the combined linear and swivel movement of the piston, they are not equipped with overload protection and therefore require that valid accident prevention regulations and operating instructions be observed during operation.
