We designed the Power-Loc Toggle Clamp to solve these issues.
By incorporating a special version of our 20mm Power-Loc dog, this heavy-duty toggle clamp can be rapidly inserted into any 20mm dog hole (entirely from the top of the table), secured in seconds and just as quickly removed. This enables users to replace a drawer full of toggle clamps and save space on their workbench.
This heavy-duty toggle clamp can be used in two ways: horizontally to apply downward clamping force (great for securing a board upright along its edge) or inline to apply sideward pressure (ideal for securing boards at their end). A special lockable hex nut allows the toggle arm to be easily adjusted for varying workpiece height and thickness. It can also be disengaged with a simple turn of the handle, providing easy removal without any tools.
The toggle clamp is equipped with an oil resistant ergonomic 2-component handle and a large grip surface for comfortable operation. An easy-to-use knurled hex adjustment screw is used to set the desired clamping force and locking action. A safety interlock is also available to prevent accidental release of the clamping arm.
